How to Configure Call Forwarding for Phone Numbers
This article provides a step-by-step guide on configuring call forwarding for your phone numbers within Metanow CRM.
It's important to first understand the two methods for forwarding calls in Metanow CRM:
Forwarding calls to a single number
Forwarding calls to multiple numbers (also known as a call group)
Each method has a unique setup process, which will be covered in detail below. Before proceeding, let's locate the phone number settings in your Metanow CRM account.
Finding the Phone Number Settings
To access the phone number settings in Metanow CRM, follow these steps:
Log in to your Metanow CRM account
Go to the 'Settings' tab
Click on 'Phone Numbers'
From here, you can view a list of all the phone numbers in your account. To edit the settings for a specific number, simply click the pencil icon next to it.

Now that you can locate the phone number settings, we can proceed with setting up call forwarding.
Forwarding Calls to a Single Number
If you wish to forward calls to a single phone number, the process is quick and straightforward. Here is what you need to do:
In the phone number settings, locate the 'Forward Calls to' field.
Enter the phone number you want to forward calls to.
Click 'Save'.
That's it! All incoming calls to this number will now be forwarded to the number you entered.
Forwarding Calls to Multiple Numbers (Call Group)
To forward calls to multiple numbers, you will need to create a call group. This feature is ideal for businesses with sales or customer support teams, as it enables call distribution among multiple team members.
Here is how to set up a call group in Metanow CRM:
Go to the 'Settings' tab.
Click on 'Team Management'.
Click the '+ Add Employee' button to add a new team member to your call group.
Enter the team member's name, email, and phone number.
Repeat this process for all team members you want to add to the call group.
Go back to the 'Phone Numbers' settings.
In the 'Forward Calls to' field, select the call group you just created.
Click 'Save'.
Now, when someone calls this number, it will ring all the numbers in the call group simultaneously. The first person to answer will be connected with the caller.
